Biography
Born and raised in China, I moved to America with my family in order to get a better education and to achieve my goals for the future. Starting a new life here is not easy. I had struggled to adapt to the environment and to find my dream. I didn't realize what I wanted to do in the future until I saw design works from Paul Rand and Tibor Kalman. I was so impressed with the logos and posters they designed; and because of that I was eager to become a graphic designer as good as they were.
In order to make my dream come true, I decided to go to college and train to become a skilled professional in the design field. I study hard in order to understand all the information and projects that professors give me because of my limitation with the English language. In my major courses, I complete lots of challenging project, such as logo design, corporate identity and Advertising Design. In order to build my skill and experience as a graphic designer, I did volunteer job for other people, such as designing logos, flyers and so on.
I enjoy putting my creative ideas into action and creating dynamic visuals with attention-grabbing typography. Mixing these elements together, I am able to create successful art work.
